Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace Course
This qualification is aimed at those who require a better understanding of health and safety within the workplace. The emphasis is on making the employee safe for him/herself, safe for others and capable of identifying potential hazards. “Health and Safety” takes as its starting point the fact that most accidents are attributable to a lack of knowledge or carelessness and that the key to improvement is increased awareness on everybody’s part.

Course duration
- Seven hours excluding breaks
- Courses are normally run over one eight-hour day but other combinations are available, such as three three-hour evenings etc.
- Weekend courses are available for your group
Course dates
- Closed courses can be held at your site for your group of up to 16 students at times and date to suit you.

Assessment
- A 20 question multiple choice question paper that must be completed within 45 minutes (may be conducted orally)
- Candidates must achieve twelve or more correct answers to be awarded the certificate
- Delegates will require sufficient fluency in written and spoken English at national literacy level 2 to cope with the course
- On successful completion, students will be awarded with a MGM Training certificate valid for three years
