Fire Warden / Fire Marshal Course

This course is designed for employees who have a responsibility for fire safety in the workplace.

The aim of the course is for Fire Wardens to have greater understanding of the fire risks in the workplace and be able to carry out company procedures. They will learn about fire, the way in which it spreads and the way to fight fire.

  • Legislation
  • The principles of combustion
  • Fire Procedures
  • The Role of a Fire Warden / Fire Marshal

  • Reducing the Risk

Course duration

  • Five hours excluding breaks
  • Courses are normally run over a six-hour day but other combinations are available, such as two three-hour evenings etc.
  • Weekend courses are available for your group

Course dates

  • Closed courses can be held at your site for your group of up to 12 students at times and date to suit you.

Assessment

  • Multiple choice question paper which can be taken verbally
  • Delegates will require sufficient fluency in written and spoken English at national literacy level 2 to cope with the course

Certificate

  • An MGM Training certificate which is valid for three years
