Health Care Professional, Common Induction Standards
Course Specification
This course is designed for workers starting in the
Social Care sector. It covers the Standards laid
down by Skills for Care for all Social Care
Workers. All workers are required to have completed
training/assessment within the first twelve weeks of
employment.
Common Induction Standards have been introduced to
be tailored for care in individual establishments as
no two establishments will work exactly the same.
Therefore, our course is a course which the
Registered Manager will want to build on to induct
the new employee. To aid the Registered Manager do
this, we provide a suggested list of Policies and
Procedures that the student should read before
attending the course. We also advise on further
training during our course (e.g. Fire Safety
Certificate, Basic Food Hygiene Certificate etc.).
The course is linked to NVQ Health & Social Care and
as such some of the knowledge/skills learnt may be
evidenced in the NVQ. For further details of this
please contact us.
