The course is designed for employees who will be moving objects in the workplace.   All employers in the United Kingdom have a legal obligation to make the workplace as safe as possible under the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and also the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended)

 It is the responsibility of the student that they are physically fit before they attend this course as there will be some practical activities.
