Requalification
More than
one hundred and fifty thousand people die from
cardiac arrests in the United Kingdom every year.
Some could be saved if their heart could be
defibrillated (stopped by electrocution and then
restarted) within five minutes. An Automated
External Defibrillator (AED) can increase the chance
of survival from 5% to 80%.
